Admissions Officer - £30,000pa plus 25 days holiday
Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity for someone with School administration experience for the position of Admissions Officer, to join a very highly regarded Central London based Independent School. Reporting to the Head of Admissions, the Admissions Officer will be responsible for liaising with prospective parents and students, ensuring a smooth transition to the School. The successful candidate will have experience in customer care and an understanding of the education sector. Excellent communication, organisation, and administration skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a high-level of customer service via email, telephone, and face-to-face.
• Ensure prospective students and parents are guided through the admissions process in a professional, helpful, and efficient way.
• Assist the Head of Admissions in planning, organising, and delivering successful admissions events.
• Manage the Admissions Department diary.
• Liaise with members of academic staff to organise meetings with prospective parents as required.
• Accompany visitors and give tours of the school when requested.
• Enter and maintain accurate application data at all stages of the admissions process.
Requirements:
• Experience in customer care, preferably in the education sector.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• High levels of organisation and computer literacy.
• Strong administration skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards software is a plus.
