Hybrid role – two days office based in Central London, three remote
The Business and Enterprise Manager will be an experienced manager with a successful track record in business development, who will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of customer service when working with top-tier external clients. You will have an in-depth knowledge of managing budgets, financial planning experience of project managing multiple externally focused projects. You will also be an excellent communicator who is able to develop and manage relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including international clients, senior executives and academics.
THE ROLE
As the Business and Enterprise Manager, you will support the Head of Enterprise in expanding the portfolio of income-generating activities, including Executive Education programmes, bespoke short courses and CPD. This is a dynamic role, involving business development, financial planning and project management. You’ll develop partnerships, identify market opportunities and ensure enterprise activities meet the highest standards. Additionally, you’ll provide strategic guidance to academic departments, oversee resource requirements and manage robust budgets.

- Expertise in managing budgets and financial planning.
- Previous experience in a business development manager role.
- Experience in project management, particularly in externally focused initiatives.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives, academics, and international clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform market research and develop actionable insights.
- A proactive and innovative approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in higher education or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of Executive Education and CPD delivery.
