Job Description

Hybrid role.  Open to discuss how this will work with suitable candidates.  Would consider fulltime, part time, workshare.  The most important thing is having the right person for the role.  You can work from where ever you wish but candidates must have flexibility to attend meetings at Head Office in Brighton.

Based within the People Directorate of a large regulatory body we are looking for an ER leader to inspire and transform the ER agenda, establishing and developing a high performing and progressive team. Reporting to the Head of Partnering and Service, the role holder will be responsible for delivering the ER transformation

This will involve reviewing and refreshig, through a continuous improvement lens, and in alignment with the People & Culture Strategy outcomes, ER frameworks, processes, practices, and SLA’s 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A proven and demonstrable track record of establishing / delivering an organisational ER agenda
  • Excellent people management skills, ideally with experience of continuous improvement methodology
  • CIPD level 7 or equivalent
  • Proven experience of building and establishing strong partnering relationships at all levels of an organisation, up to and including ExCo level
  • The ability to manage own workload, prioritise and make decisions
  • A transformative mindset with a passion for driving value and change
  • The ability to work at a tactical and operational level, and through the lens of the chosen strategy; the ability to work at a detailed level whilst keeping an eye on the bigger picture
  • A passion and commitment to their own development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to strongly partner both internally and externally into relevant departments / industries
  • Experience in prioritising outcomes and deliverables and managing time and that of the team, effectively
