A leading UK university is seeking an experienced Enterprise Manager. This is a senior operational and business development role supporting the growth and delivery of enterprise activity including consultancy executive education short courses and CPD. The role works closely with academic departments and senior stakeholders to expand income generating activity while maintaining high quality standards and strong client relationships.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise the Enterprise Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering the Faculty enterprise strategy. The postholder will lead on business development financial planning project delivery and stakeholder engagement across a diverse portfolio of externally focused activity.
The role includes responsibility for managing executive education and short course provision overseeing budgets forecasting income and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently profitably and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities

Grow and diversify the portfolio of surplus generating enterprise activity

Develop and manage executive education short courses and CPD programmes

Lead business development activity from enquiry through to contracted delivery

Build strong relationships with academic departments professional services and external clients

Manage budgets forecasting financial performance and ensuring robust financial control

Lead planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects and events

Oversee marketing content for courses and enterprise activity including digital channels

Line manage and support the Enterprise Administrator

Monitor evaluate and continuously improve enterprise provision using feedback and data
About you
You will be an experienced manager with a strong track record in business development project management and financial planning. You will be confident working with senior academics executives and external partners and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
You will bring excellent communication skills strong commercial awareness and a proactive problem solving approach. Experience within higher education executive education or professional services environments is highly desirable.

Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
