Experienced Regulatory Sector Office Manager – £31.25ph plus holiday pay – Central London

Start beginning of July for six months initially

We are recruiting for a highly organised, experienced Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a respected organisation within the regulatory sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the pace, governance expectations and confidentiality required in a regulatory environment. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting senior leadership, coordinating internal processes and ensuring operational efficiency across a busy office.

 

* Please note: Prior experience working in a regulatory body or similarly governed organisation is essential *

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Manage office operations, including facilities, suppliers, and IT coordination
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Support diary and meeting coordination for senior leadership
  • Oversee document control, records management and compliance with internal protocols
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and risk registers in line with regulatory standards
  • Liaise with HR and Finance on onboarding, procurement, and reporting tasks
  • Ensure a professional, efficient, and well-run working environment

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role within the regulatory sector
  • Strong understanding of governance, data protection and risk awareness in a regulatory context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident managing competing priorities and handling sensitive information
  • Proactive, solution-focused and highly organised
  • Comfortable using MS Office, shared systems and internal platforms
