Registrations Team Leader - £36,000 - Hybrid role

Working for a growing regulatory professional membership organisation.  Responsible for supervising 2/3 team members, managing their workload and ensuring processes run in line with SLAs.  A great opportunity for an experienced leader/supervisor to join this busy and interesting organisation. 

The role will include:
  • Supporting the development of team members through induction, training and line management activities.
  • Using performance and applications data, you will manage and plan the workload of the team and provide performance management updates
  • You will provide first line technical and escalation problem solving to the team, whilst also creating learning opportunities to improve overall performance of the team.
  • Track the team’s delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs, identifying where training and/or coaching will be required.
  • You will provide a second review of exam applications/evaluating eligibility and making/supporting decisions on next steps.
  • Working other members of the management team, to manage workload across team identifying resource solutions and identifying pressure and risk points for resolution.
  • Input to development activities to improve processes and systems
  • Providing excellent customer service through the provision of advice and high-quality registration processing.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate many of these qualities and areas of experience:
  • Experience of working within a regulatory, professional membership or similar organisation.
  • Experience of managing or supervising team members and/or high-volume processes.
  • Working with operational systems and applications, case management or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure as workload changes whilst maintaining motivation of self and team.
  • Experience in delivery of high level of customer service.
  • Experience of working in a team environment that is at times fast paced.
  • Evidenced experience of efficiently and tactfully dealing with difficult people in pressurised situations.
  • Experience of working flexibly and with resilience in a changing, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory law and/or built environment is desirable but not essential.
