Although the role is all year round there is flexibility in Summer holidays with some cover needed at the beginning and end of Summer holidays
A fantastic opportunity to join this exciting specialist independent school focused on providing the best education to their small cohort across key stages 3 and 4. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced administrator to become part of the team and help develop the best possible provision and processes for the children and staff. This role would suit a dynamic, skilled Administrator who will embrace the opportunity to join a vibrant and growing school.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in this niche school. You will be the first port of contact for all enquirers and need to be able to communicate and operate in a highly professional, friendly manner with staff, students, parents, visitors and other stakeholders.
You will be in constant contact with all stakeholders and must have empathy and understanding of students and parents/carers needs whilst working in a busy and deadline led environment. Excellent organisational skills and a cheery and friendly manner are key qualities for this role.
You will be responsible for the coordination of all administrative functions within the school as well as being the initial contact for all stakeholders whether that be face to face, in writing or via telephone.
Candidates should be able to work closely with a strong, collaborative team of colleagues and have a desire to promote excellent behaviour and high standards.
You will be required to:
- To provide high-quality customer service for all who visit the school and work in the school
- To provide administrative support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership team, School Business Manager and staff
- To be organised and efficient
- To maintain filing and filing system for prompt retrieval of information
- To proficiently use a PC, including using Office, email, Excel, Publisher and SIMS
- To hold or to be willing to undertake training in enhanced levels of First Aid
A knowledge of and experience of administration within a school environment would be a definite advantage.
