University Student Support Coordinator - £19.65ph Plus Hol Pay – South East London

Duration: To 16th October 2022 initially


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Higher Education professional to join a leading UK University. This post will be predominantly office based with the opportunity for occasional remote working. 



  • Work with relevant colleagues to plan elements of programme cycles.
  • Deliver processes throughout the academic year and identify priorities.
  • Amend and adjust plans accordingly throughout the programme cycle.
  • Coordinate elements of programme administration including timetabling, assessment processes and placements.
  • Ensure systems are up to date and maintained regularly in particular student records systems and virtual learning environments.
  • Responsible for reporting and extracting data and database management.
  • Deal with students’ pastoral care needs, resolving issues where appropriate and referring students to key stakeholders/departments.
  • Handle low-level complaints and address service setbacks.
  • Responsible for the data quality of student records.
  • Support with student enquiries which may be in-person, email or live chat.



  • Experience of working in administration within an education environment.
  • Experience of stakeholder management.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
  • Experience of managing and delivering a portfolio of services which support programme delivery.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
