Position: Student Recruitment and Admissions Executive

Salary: £31,000 to £35,000

My client is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Student Recruitment and Admissions Executive to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their international business school. As a leader in education, my client is dedicated to empowering students to achieve their academic and professional goals. As a Student Recruitment and Admissions Executive, you will serve as the vanguard of the institution, actively engaging with prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for prospective students, answering enquiries about applications, required documents, and the admissions process.
- Liaise with candidates, faculty, and administrative peers to arrange interviews and campus visits.
- Spearhead student recruitment efforts, including fostering relationships with potential candidates from around the globe.
- Streamline the enrolment process, ensuring seamless experience for prospective students.
- Participate in external events (academic fairs, open days, school fairs) around the UK and overseas.
- Collect data related to admissions using the appropriate software and relevant sources.
- Maintain weekly statistics and regularly report to senior admissions members on admissions-related matters, provide recommendations, and support them improving the admissions process.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years in higher education admissions administrative and office management roles.
- Experience in student recruitment, specifically in recruiting international students.
- Proficiency in admissions processes, including screening, assessing, and corresponding with applications.
- Professional experience and knowledge in the higher education sector, especially in the UK and US markets.
- Experience in student visa procedures, specifically for the UK.
- Knowledge and experience in marketing and recruitment events (school fairs/open days)
- Willingness to travel frequently (within the UK and abroad) for student recruitment and international recruitment fairs.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain consistent communication with staff at various levels.
- Strong project management, organizational, collaborative, and communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills (Google Workspace: Sheets, Word, Slides, AdobePro)
- Ability to use platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Google Hangouts
- Experience working as part of an international team is a plus.
