Hiring? Let’s talk interview best practice and why EDI matters more than ever 🎯🌍
The interview stage is your chance to find the right person for the role - but it’s also their chance to see if your organisation is the right place for them. Getting it right matters. A lot.

✅ Structure it well: Have a clear process and consistent questions for all candidates. It’s fair, it helps remove bias and it makes comparison easier.
✅ Train your panel: Make sure everyone involved understands unconscious bias, inclusive language and how to support candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
✅ Be accessible: Ask candidates if they require any adjustments. Whether it’s interview format, timings or tech needs - inclusivity starts with asking.
✅ Focus on skills: Not everyone interviews the same way. Look for potential, transferable skills and attitude - not just confidence.
✅ Represent your values: Candidates are paying attention. Show that EDI isn’t just a box-tick ... it’s embedded in how you hire, support and grow your teams.
